Our day at the temples. By Rosie

We are now in Cambodia! Me and my family are at a town called Siem Reap. We hired a tuk-tuk driver to take us to the famous temples nearby called Angkor Wat.Taking in the view

Faces in the rocksIt is a big temple and some of the rocks had faces in them. We saw some monkeys as well along the way. Some of the monkeys are half my size, they are that big!

A different temple we went to is half built and half fallen down. We had lots of fun and saw bats flying around in the tombs. It was dark in those tombs.

I used dad’s camera to take some photos of us around the place.Buddha statuesAround the tombs we visited were lots of Buddha statues.

Eventually we went back to the tuk-tuk and then we went home. I felt happy that we went as it was great to explore such a great place.

  1. Lovely writing, Rosie 🙂 You are so lucky to visit the Angkor Wat Temples. I’m sure you’ll remember it for the rest of your life.
